Hudson River Music Festival

Music, Community, and Environmental Purpose

The Hudson River Music Festival is a one-day, multi-stage event set at Croton Point Park, built around music, community, and environmental awareness. Rooted in the legacy of the Clearwater gatherings, the festival brings together artists, audiences, and environmental organizations in a setting that reflects the river itself… open, accessible, and connected to place.

The festival is produced by Dayglo Presents in collaboration with Riverfest FPS and the Harper House Music Foundation. Movingbeam served as Production Designer, Production Manager, and Producer, leading overall show design, technical infrastructure, and execution. The approach focused on a clean, scalable system that could support multiple stages while maintaining a cohesive experience across the site, with attention to efficient power distribution, reduced footprint, and integration with the natural landscape.

Environmental focus is not an add-on… it’s part of the core structure. The festival incorporates on-site education, nonprofit participation, and sustainability-driven planning, from waste reduction to site-sensitive design decisions. The goal is to support the mission without compromising the audience experience or production integrity.

2025 marked the first year of the Hudson River Music Festival under its current identity. The foundation was established with a single-day format and a focused footprint, setting the stage for expansion. The festival returns with additional stages and expanded programming, evolving the format while staying aligned with its core values.

The result is a festival built to grow… structured, adaptable, and grounded in both purpose and execution.
